Iowa State University Soccer Complex
The ISU
Soccer Complex, located directly east of the
Lied
Recreation
Athletics
Center, was built in 1995 when women’s soccer was
added at
Iowa
State. The facility was
upgraded with the $170,000 installation of permanent lighting system in 2004.
The grass field is in excellent condition and one of the finest in the Big 12
North.
The
soccer team has a locker room on site in the
Lied
Recreation Center. A team meeting room was added in
2005, which allows for game analysis to be done on site. There is also a
practice facility directly east of the stadium, which gives the Cyclones an
alternate site for training and conditioning.
Directions
From I-35, you can locate the Iowa State Soccer Complex by following these directions:
- Exit from I-35 onto Hwy 30 going West.
- Drive until you reach University Boulevard Exit, Turn Right.
- Follow University Boulevard until you approach Lincoln Way, Turn Left.
- The Maple/Willow/Larch Dorms are located directly at your first Right turn, Beach Ave.
- To continue to the Soccer Complex, bypass the dorms until you reach the Lied Recreation Center. Park in the farthest East area of the parking lot and walk to the Soccer Complex.
A closer look at the ISU Soccer Complex
Maple-Willow-Larch Dorms
Housing for Resident Campers will be at the Maple-Willow-Larch dorms on
the campus of Iowa State University, an easy one block walk from the Iowa
State Soccer Complex.
The Maple-Willow-Larch dorms are air conditioned and include multiple showers and restroom facilities on each floor. Campers who wish to room with a friend need to indicate their roommate preference upon registration.

- Exit from I-35 onto Hwy 30 going West.
- Drive until you reach University Boulevard Exit, Turn Right.
- Follow University Boulevard until you approach Lincoln Way, Turn Left.
- The Maple/Willow/Larch Dorms are located directly at your first right turn, Beach Ave.
Bergstrom Indoor Center (Field Turf)
The new
$9.6 million Steve and Debbie Bergstrom Indoor Training Facility opened in March 2004. The 92,000-square-foot building was constructed
over the existing turf practice field as a part of the Johnny Majors Practice
Complex west of Jack Trice Stadium. Funding for this project was from private
gifts to the athletic department and ISU Foundation.

From I-35, you can locate the Bergstrom Indoor Center by following these directions: - Exit from I-35 onto Hwy 30 going West.
- Drive until you reach University Boulevard Exit, Turn Right.
- Follow University Boulevard until you approach South 4th St., Turn Left.
- The Bergstrom Building is straight ahead and the driveway is to the left.
